Carved from spalted beech.  6cm long ( beak to end of tail)
and 5.5cm high.
Great for storing tiny precious things. Or I like to give them as a present with a little message inside, on a thin strip of paper I've wound around a pencil
Gaby Pfeiffer is a characterful, generous wooden toymaker. You can usually find him in the craft markets of Herefordshire and Worcestershire. But of course, during 2020 he has been badly affected by Covid-19 ( as have many other rtists and makers)
