‘Coast to Countryside' brings together an exciting range of work from leading British artists and crafts people, unified by their affinity with the natural world.


From the Salt Marshes of Portished to the rolling Malvern hills, from Roe Deer to Red Kites visitors will be treated to a rich visual celebration of our landscapes and wildlife.

Learn Megan's collagraph printmaking process, using pieces of litter collected from rural Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Create textured prints using a hand operated roller press, then combine your collagraphs with hand drawn or painted detail, or take them home as is.

Shelly is a freelance illustrator living and working in rural
Worcestershire, she has worked for clients such as BBC Wildlife
Magazine, WWF and The RSPB creating highly unusual, richly textured collages which combine both traditional and digital techniques.


This course is designed for people wanting to use Photoshop to
enhance their own creative work, be that painting, textiles,
photography, drawing etc photoshop offers creatives endless
possibilities to enhance, adjust, resize, layout, layer, saturate,
desaturate, collage or just generally experiment with artwork. This
course is purposefully set out in bite sized steps from the absolute
basics through to the more complex elements of the program to enable
students to get a solid, basic foundation and develop skills in this
complex program that they can move forward with after the course.


IMPORTANT NOTE: Each participant needs to have their own computer to work on and have a current version of photoshop on their computers but you can download a free trial version from the adobe website.

Spend the day working with experienced mosaic maker
Amanda Anderson creating a small mosaic panel for your wall using brightly coloured ceramic pieces, stained glass and recycled china. I will bring along heart and square shaped plywood bases, but if you would like a particular shape or size e.g. a circle, then please let me know.
The workshop is suitable for all abilities. Tools and materials are provided. If you would like to include some of your own china pieces in your design please bring them along.
You may like to bring an apron.
Lunch is not include but the blue-ginger café will be open.

Make a seamless 3D wet felted bag or vessel.


We will be using wet felting technique using sheep’s wool and hot soapy water and a lot of rubbing and rolling to make yourself a 3D seamless bag or vessel in a style and colour of your choosing. A chance to play with colour and shape and leave with a new skill and a beautiful bag.

A one day course for absolute beginners.


Morning session will be lots of fun, feeling your way with brushes and dye, learning to be comfortable with painting on Pongee silk 60cms squares.
Afternoon session gives the opportunity to develop your new skills, exploring free running dyes and more techniques to your own designs on two more squares.

By the end of your day, you will have painted four unique silk scarves. These will be steam fixed and sent to you within a week. You will take home the basic equipment to continue and develop a new absorbing and colourful craft.
